the environmental impacts to an acceptable level.

Our commitment to the protection of the environment
is reflected in every aspect of our operations.
Our environmental protection policy specifies that
"The support processes aim at optimizing resources
and reduce wastage". To support this commitment,
we strengthen our corporate environmental policy
in business processes to ensure continuing focus
and systematic performance improvement.
By joining the Wastewi$e Scheme
in August 2004, thirteen (13) targets on reducing wastage
were defined and implemented. Some of them include:

To collect all exhausted toner and ink cartridges
for recycling
To save electricity power by reducing number of
fluorescent lamps
To keep second hand furniture for reuse
To use recycled paper for letterhead printing
To reduce number of paper-packaged drinks
