(Hong Kong, 12 January 2005) Objective
Solutions Limited (OSL) was awarded with ¡§Caring Company Logo
2004/05¡¨ by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS)
showing our outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility.
Under the award scheme, we assigned 2 employees to be ¡§Caring
Ambassadors¡¨ representing our Company and to recognize our staff
in community involvement programmes. We¡¦ve got credits in the
following aspects:
Family Friendly
Help families understand the daily work of the employees through
company activities such
as company tour, bowling match, and other competitions.
Employing Vulnerable
Co-operate with social service organizations in supported employment
program, and
provide training/work trial opportunities for the unemployed.
Mentoring
share business expertise with social service organization in
areas of IT profession.
Giving
provide cash donation to social service organizations etc.
About Caring Company 2004/2005
Scheme
The Caring Company Logo will be awarded to companies, which
self declare that they have satisfied at least two out of the
six criteria of the Caring Company Scheme, and run business
that is ethically sound and legally clean.
Volunteering: Encourage and support employee volunteering
Family-Friendly: Provide a family-friendly and gender sensitive
environment for employees
Employing the Vulnerable: Be willing to employ vulnerable groups
Partnering: Develop partnership projects with the social service
sector
Mentoring: Share business expertise with social service organizations
Giving : Donate or give in kind to the community |
