Keeping
Business Growth Steadily in an Unsteady Environment

(Hong Kong, 12 August, 2003) Despite
the economic downturn, the outbreak of SARS epidemic and unsteady
political situation, a 14-year-old business, Objective Management
Consulting ("OMC" and the "company") keeps
growing steadily in this year. The company has recorded 200
per cent growth in this unsteady environment.
Due to the continuous expansion of business, OMC will relocate
again in the near future. Four months ago, OMC moved from Tsim
Sha Tsui to Hung Hom in order to provide better service to its
customers, who are also located in this district. We will move
again and the new office is double the current one.
As a fast-growing local consulting firm, OMC is in search of
excellence by adopting advanced technology and having a professional
team. The growth in customer numbers motivates the staffs and
creates various opportunities for them to progress their careers.
"Growth must be controlled." Dr. Oliver Yau, managing
director of OMC, continued. "If our service is right in
terms of cost reducing and/or revenue generating, it is even
more right in downturn, to expand our business. OMC is one of
the only companies providing reliable business and system solutions
in jewelry enterprises with employee size ranging from 2 to
2000. We are gently stepping through the Pearl River regions
acquiring business at a rate of 5 to 10 new customers each month."
Recently OMC is planning to conduct a research with a local
university in order to seek possibility to expand its jewelry
ERP system to business-to-business system integration. The project
will be the first system development conducted by a university
and the industry specialized for the jewelry industry. This
solution can also apply to the local watch and clock industry.
OMC will recruit 3 -5 fresh graduates from local universities
in order to prepare for the joint project. |
