Tianjin

(Hong Kong, 3 September 2004) The Secretary
for Commerce, Industry and Technology, Mr John Tsang, led a
delegation of more than 200 representatives from the information
technology industry and small and medium enterprises depart
Hong Kong on Sunday (August 29) for a three-day visit to Beijing
and Tianjin to see the opportunities and challenges in the Mainland
market. Dr. Oliver Yau, Managing Director of OSL, was also invited
to join the delegation.
During the visit in Beijing, the delegation met ministerial
counterparts and discussed matters of mutual interest. The delegation
also visited the economic development region, IT enterprises
and research institutes in Tianjin. |
